MMH Residencies
Designed for students enrolled full time in a college, university or conservatory programs, and internships in New York City.
The program fee of $50 per day includes full room and board.

Students traveling to NYC for auditions, competitions, and for lessons and coachings may also apply.

WE are offering a summer residency deal for anyone applying to The Audition Boot Camp from outside of New York City.
Six full weeks of residency for $1500 plus the cost of the Boot Camp.

Harlem Divas and Divos
The third Sunday of November at 3pm Harlem residents and New Yorkers are treated to an afternoon of arias and songs by all of the wonderful humans who have participated in our year long training programs. This wonderful concert is part of a larger series of concerts produced by our dear friends Patricia Pates Eaton and her wonderfully opera singing daughter Patrice for their organization, Thee on 3 Music!
The Audition Boot Camp 2022
An extremely low cost summer program for opera singers who have not been able to successfully audition for schools, colleges and other classical music program opportunities. This 6 week Boot Camp includes a Saturday afternoon program of arias open to the general public called ARIA MADNESS.

Cost in 2022 is $850

Classes begin June 20th 2022 and will be held Monday thru Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Music and Mentoring House and at Open Jar Studios.

The concentration for those who have not aged out of Young Artist programs is a completely coached audition package by the end of the six weeks.

For this who have aged out of Young Artist applications we will be creating a full recital program for you which can include arias and we will provide performing opportunities for you through the fall and winter.
The Saturday Soirée
This is a seven week FREE class for singers of all levels of development to enable them to have a program length recital at the end of the seven weeks. Students receive free programmatic help and coaching’s throughout the week culminating in a Saturday afternoon performance at Music and Mentoring House and open to the public. Students are encouraged to provide the audience with insight into the historical significance of the composition including general background of the composer and poet.
The Master Class
An invitation only opportunity for singers to engage one on one with Miss Flanigan’s colleagues from the world of opera, theatre and new music. Music and Mentoring House donors are invited to these classes which are closed to the general public.
